About Me

Hi, my name is Molly. It’s so nice of you to stop by 🙂

I started my yoga journey in 2010 with a book, “Yoga for Dummies” and Youtube videos. It wasn’t until later that year I stepped foot into my first yoga studio, and then fell in love with Hot Yoga. After a one-week intro package I purchased a 10 punch pass and I was hooked!

To me, yoga has become more than a physical practice, it’s helped me mentally and spiritually. I am very interested in practicing and teaching pranayama (breathwork) and mindfulness (being present). Honestly, it’s a funny stigma that people think that yoga is for FLEXIBLE people who are so calm and at peace, but it’s just the opposite! We practice yoga to become open (mentally and physically) and find clarity not only on the mat but in our everyday lives!  Yoga has helped tremendously! Because of this, I knew I had to teach! In the fall of 2015, I received my 200-hour certification at Purple Yoga and have been teaching ever since!

I mirror my classes just as I would enjoy my own practice: sweaty, fun movement & sequences, mixed with pranayama and a long savasana (final corpse pose). I’m so thankful for all of those who have taken my classes thus far and I hope to use this medium to spread more love and knowledge of yoga.

From my heart to yours,

Namaste.Â
